Are there times that you feel weak? There are times when I don’t feel strong. I don’t think I can find the strength to do what is needed. We can always find strength through God. Sometimes, God brings people into our lives who show concern for us and help us. We treasure these people, and God blesses them.
There are times when I feel strong, like I can do anything. I would like to say that I am not self-involved when I feel strong, and I help others. I would like for that to be the truth. I am not sure if that is true.
God loves those who are concerned about the weak. When others are concerned for the weak, the Lord delivers them through difficulties. The Lord will protect them and steadfastly maintain their purpose in spite of difficult times. Those who have regard for the weak will be among the blessed in the land. Their enemies will desire harm for them. No harm will come to them. God will protect and preserve them.
Blessed are those who have regard for the weak;
the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.
The Lord protects and preserves them—
they are counted among the blessed in the land—
he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.
–Psalm 41:1-2 (NIV)
When we feel weak, we should seek God for strength. When we feel strong, we should show concern for the weak and help them. We can pray and ask God how to help the weak. God protects and perserves those who help the weak. I need to be more mindful of where I am at, weak or strong. And, I should seek help or offer help, according to God’s will. God makes the weak strong, and the strong are blessed when they help the weak.
