As the New Year starts, I pray that I will use the gifts God has given me for his good will. Do you know your gift? I am a 40 something and still not sure of my gifts. This year, I really want to serve God and let go of all that separates me from God.
Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
–1 Timothy 4:14 (NKJV)
If you know your gifts, how did you discover them? I think that I will have to pray and meditate to see what God wants me to do. I felt like God wanted me to write this blog. I started writing it 1 year and 3 months ago. Wow, so much has changed since I started it. My daughter had just started school full time, when I started this blog.
I want to be fully present and there for my husband and children, and I want to serve God. Praying that this year will be full of love, God and family. Praying that the New Year helps me discover the spiritual gifts that God has given me.
