God Will Fight For Us Through All The Unseen Powers In The Universe

Have you had God do amazing things in your life?

God has done so much for me. I hate remembering all the ways that I have gone against God. I am so thankful that God forgave me. I am so thankful that God calls me his own. God watches out for me. God fights for me. When the world disappoints me, God is still there for me.

When I was a child, I thought I knew God. As I grew up, I wanted a relationship with God, but the church we attended didn’t teach us how to have a relationship with the Lord. I wanted so much more. I made so many mistakes searching for that missing piece, aching for that meaning of life, that only God can fill. Over the past three years, I have learned how to grow closer to God. The fundamental ways to have a relationship with God are to praise God, pray, read the bible and go to church (now watching online services).

God is a giver. The world takes away from us, giving us fear, anxieties and stress. God restores and renews our souls. I am so thankful to serve such a great God.

There is a story in the bible about a demon possessed man being healed by Jesus. After the demons left the man, he wanted to go with Jesus. God had other plans for the man. God wanted him to tell all his friends about the great things that God did for him. God had compassion on him. When people heard of the good works by Jesus, all the people were marveled.

And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.
–Mark 5:18-20 (NKJV)

I am filled with wonder and astonishment about all the good things that God has done in my life. God has fought for me and my family. People have tried to destroy our lives, but God has not let them. God has fought our battles for us. God has turned our trials and tribulations into joys and blessings for us.

I have been filled with anxiety and low confidence, since I was a child. That feeling of never feeling good enough, never went away. Honestly, it has been holding me back in life, for a long time. I prayed and fasted last week, and I feel like God lifted that invisible barrier from me. I saw things differently. It is like I saw things clearly with a new understanding. I don’t have to believe what others think about me. I don’t have to apologize for who God made me to be. I am not like everyone else. God made me, to be me. I am exactly as I am supposed to be. I can also change. I can change the way I think, the way I look and the way that I act, because God showed me a glimpse of how he sees me.

Jesus is the image of the invisible God. God created all things on heaven and earth, the visible and invisible. God sits on the throne over the principalities or powers of the universe. All things were created through him and for him.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
–Colossians 1:15-16 (NKJV)

We can’t see God, but he is there. We can feel his goodness within us through the Holy Spirit. God will fight for us through all the unseen powers in the universe.
