God's Character, Jeremiah

Let God Plead Your Case and Take Vengeance For You

Have you ever found out what somebody did behind your back? Hopefully, it was a good thing. I will treasure good surprises! Unfortunately, I just found out that family members were intentionally holding back information about my mom’s diagnosis and treatment. Why? I guess they just did not want me there. The Lord did not agree.

I am thankful that the Lord will plead my case for me. God will explain my side and make all the facts clear. Even if the other person left out vital information. God will make the whole truth known. Then, God will take vengeance for me. God will punish those who lied and bended the truth to make me look bad. God will soon show them his wrath. God will take away their ability to harm us.

Therefore thus says the Lord:

“Behold, I will plead your case and take vengeance for you.
I will dry up her sea and make her springs dry.”
–Jeremiah 51:36 (NKJV)

I feel so angry that my family members excluded me from knowing information about my mom’s diagnosis and recovery. I am praying that God takes this burden from me. I would much rather God handle my case, over any lawyer and least of all, myself. God will handle this slight according to his ways. God’s ways are mighty and far beyond anything I could imagine. Let God plead your case and take vengeance for you.
