What Can Anyone Do To Me, When God Is With Me?

Hebrews13I have been reading the bible for a few years now, and recently I have been reading it everyday. I considered myself a Christian my whole life, but realized over the past four years, that I have so much to learn.

Daniel had so much faith, he survived the lion’s den and his friends survived the fiery furnace, without a hair being touched.

Paul is an amazing story of the goodness and power of God. Paul was persecuting Christians, when God not only stopped him, God converted Paul into a Christian that inspires us on how to live our lives today.

I used to believe that you ask God to do something for you, and if you don’t get what you want, God said no. I have come to understand that God is way more complicated. We can place our petitions before God. Sometimes, we will get the answer we prayed for, and sometimes we will not. God is not always saying no.

God has a plan for us. Sometimes, I can look back and say in wonder, oh now I see what God was doing. God’s plan can take years to unfold, even a lifetime. God’s plans for us are always good for us and our lives.

Lately, I have been trying hard to listen to what God is telling me. I try to keep looking up, but the world around me distracts me. I can get caught up in it. I saw this verse this morning, and it seems to be where I am right now. I can boldly say that the Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can anyone do to me, when God is with me?

So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
–Hebrews 13:6 (NKJV)

When you seek God, he will make you complete in every good work. When you try to do what God is asking of you, God changes you. God works in you to refine you and make you well and pleasing in his sight. God helps you with your personal challenges and struggles. Since Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins, God is able to forgive us and help us. May all the glory go to Jesus, forever and ever.

make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
–Hebrews 13:21 (NKJV)

I am discovering how much I didn’t know about God. I am discovering the kindness and goodness of God. I have so much more to learn about God. I look forward to the journey ahead.
