Choosing Faith Each Day, Paul

Let God’s Glory Shine Through You

Good Morning! It is a cold day here. The kids are off school today for an administrative day. We made slime this morning. My daughter added pink food coloring, and my son added green food coloring to his slime. After washing their hands for 20 minutes, my son’s hands are still a light shade of green. Very Hulk-like. I don’t know who invented slime. It is so messy. We are going to see the movie Doolittle this afternoon. It should be fun. I think my son just wants to see The Avengers character, Tony Stark, as Dr. Doolittle. I try to tell him Tony Stark is not real, that Robert Downey, Jr. is an actor. I think he wants to believe me, but wants to believe Iron Man is real even more.

This morning I read that all God’s promises are yes and amen. I find this scripture verse very encouraging. God keeps all his promises to us. God wants his glory to shine through us. I pray that God’s glory will shine through me.

I am so thankful for everything God has given me. Some people may look at me and I think that I have nothing, while others look at me and think that I have everything. No matter what your perspective is, I can say that with God, I do have everything that I need, plus extra. God has watched over me and taken care of me and my family during good times and difficult times.

2Corinthians1-20

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
–2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)

I pray that God will continue to refine me this year, inside and out. I pray that I make many more Godly choices, than ungodly ones. I pray that I keep God in the center of my life. I pray that I never forget that I am nothing without God. I pray that God blesses you today and gives your heart what it needs. I pray that God’s glory will shine through you.
