Good Morning. Last night we watched the church service, as we begin studying the book of Revelations. There is so much in this book.
God made the universe. God was the beginning and is the end. God is everything from A-Z. God is everything.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
–Revelation 1:8 (NKJV)
Sometimes, I get focused on feelings and emotions and even anxiety. The enemy will use any tactic to keep my attention away from where it needs to be. My everything and my focus should be on God. I shouldn’t be getting lost in the details I shouldn’t be brought down. God wants me to rise up and follow his commandments. I should not be putting anything above God.
keeping the commandments of God is what matters.
–1 Corinthians 7:19 (NKJV)
I was bought at a price. I shouldn’t be trying to live for this world. I shouldn’t be just getting by. God didn’t make us mundane. Each of us are extraordinary. Sometimes, life can be repetitive and boring. If we pause to look around, we can see there is so much beauty around us. Nature is so wondrous. I cannot wait to take a car trip up the East Coast and see the beauty God created in nature. People are created by God, so each of us is a wonder too.
Remember when you became a Christian? Or, those Sundays at church when you feel so alive after the singing? We should remain in that state, when we first realized what it meant to be called a child of God, overwhelming all encompassing joy.
You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. Brethren, let each one remain with God in that state in which he was called.
–1 Corinthians 7:23-24 (NKJV)
God is everything. God is the beginning and the end.
