Practice Abounding Love

Good Morning! The weekend is almost here. I am not sure how we are 6 days into March already. But, here we are ready for Spring-like temperatures next week.

I have been thinking about other people’s opinions. Some people are extremely vocal about their opinions and views. Others quietly smile and nod, and you wonder if they think you are crazy or nodding in agreement. Judgement comes into play too. Have you ever wondered how other people could actually believe or think that way? Sometimes, I do. God loves us all. We have to love our neighbors, friends and family, even if we don’t agree with them. We do not pick our neighbors or family. However, we can chose to love them.

God wants us to increase our love for others. There needs to be a hefty dosing of God’s grace sometimes. Sometimes, we just have to quiet and say prayers to do God’s will. When we receive God’s peace in our hearts, we can leave the opinions aside. The only opinion that really matters if God’s. Our hearts should be blameless. It doesn’t mean perfection, it means that we keep are hearts pure with Godly intentions.

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
–1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 (NKJV)

God loves all his children, even those that you disagree with on major topics. Diversity of thoughts and opinions makes the world more interesting and unique. Embrace diverse views and opinions and practice abounding love with everyone.

Thank you for reading my blog. Have a great weekend!
