Happy Friday! It is a beautiful Spring Day in Virginia. When we went outside, my kids were so excited to see that the first tulip bloomed. A pretty, red tulip.
Even though the Coronavirus has shut down the world, there is still life inside our homes and outside too.
Flowers are blooming. Buds are appearing on trees.
It seems like our kids are blooming too. They are noticing the beauty in nature. They were playing and noticed the squirrel perched on the tree limb, noisily eating a nut.
Maybe God is giving us this time renew our hearts and minds. Maybe we are supposed to slow down. Maybe this is the time to reevaluate our hearts. Are our hearts good and acceptable to the perfect will of God? During this time, we no longer have to conform to the world. We can use this time to transform our hearts and turn fully to God. Maybe this time is a blessing and a gift from God.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
–Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
