Our Hearts Rejoice When We Seek The Lord

Good Afternoon Lovelies! I hope that your day is going well.

Yesterday, was my son’s birthday. Drum roll. He is now officially in the double digits. And just like that, today, he has already started acting like a teenager. Just kidding, sort of kidding. We had a great day yesterday.

As the number of Coronavirus cases continue to climb, we still sticking close to home. The kids play outside on the sidewalk in front of our house and in the driveway. We have never used such a large quantity of sidewalk chalk! We FaceTime more often. I get to hear how my children talk to other children. I feel like I am getting to know how they act when I am not there. It is interesting.

We have been home for over two weeks. Although the actual school building is closed for this school year, we start online learning next week. It is optional, because some children may not be able to do it.

Homeschooling is fun and exhausting. I am tired. The kids are tired too. I see how much stuff we cram into their school day and after school activities.

I have to wonder if we were focusing on what really matters.

Even when we are too busy for him, God is always faithful to us. Now, I am so thankful for my family’s health, food and a safe place to live. God is always good to us. If we look, we can find little blessings sprinkled throughout our day, giving us happiness and joy.

God is so good to us. We should sing our praises to him and talk of his wondrous works. God’s name is holy. Let our hearts rejoice when we seek the Lord. Seek strength from the Lord. Turn towards God and seek his face.

The Eternal Faithfulness of the Lord
Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!
Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!
Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore!
Remember His marvelous works which He has done,
His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,
–Psalm 105:1-5 (NKJV)

Remember all of the Lord’s marvelous works! Let our hearts rejoice, when we see the Lord.

Sing to Him
