Good Morning. During this quarantine period, it has become resoundingly clear that God is sovereign. I don’t always understand his ways. I know that God’s ways are greater than anything that I can imagine.
God told Moses that he will have mercy and compassion on whom he selects. God shows mercy. We can pray for ourselves and others and hope for God’s mercy. I truly believe that God is so good. God is a loving father that wants to shower us with blessings, so whatever he does is for our good.
For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.
-Romans 9:15-16 (NKJV)
God can call those who did not follow him. God can pull up the unloved and love them. God can pick the most unlikely people to call his own. God can give favor to people the world would not choose. The downcast and the troubled can be lifted up by the Lord. God’s glory can shine brightly through the people he selects. If you think that you have everything that you need in this world, your heart may not be open to admit, that you are missing God in your life.
As He says also in Hosea:
“I will call them My people, who were not My people,
And her beloved, who was not beloved.”
–Romans 9:25 (NKJV)
God loves all his people from every race and religion. God’s love is boundless. The bible says, “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
–Romans 10:12-13 (NKJV)
The Lord is rich to all who call upon him. The Lord is abundant to those who call him. If you call on the Lord and trust in him, all your needs will be met with abundance. You will be overflowing with peace.
