Quarantine Reflection

I read in the news that over 30 states are easing Quarantine restrictions. We have been home since March 12, approaching 2 months. Eventually, we should go back to the daily routines of our lives. I am sure life won’t be the same ever again. Things will change. I think that the way we learn will change, and schools will prepare for distance learning.

Is there anything that you don’t want to do again? Is there anything that changed during this time that surprised you?

I have to admit that I want a dog, a fence, and I would love a trampoline. I want my house to be a safe haven for our family, even more so now.

God has so much wisdom. I am still trying to figure out what I am supposed to learn. What if it is something I don’t want to do? What if I think its impossible? God can always equip us and prepare us for tasks we think are impossible.

God has immeasurable depths of wisdom and knowledge. We cannot begin to understand the mind of the Lord. We can try to live our lives for the glory of God.

Romans11-33

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

“For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has become His counselor?”
“Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?”

For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
–Romans 11:33-36 (NKJV)

We should not be conformed to the world. Instead, we should be transformed by renewing our minds to do what is good and acceptable to God.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
–Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

I hope that this quarantine time has given you moments of peace and reflection, amidst the uncertainty of this world. God is glorious forever.

Thank you
