This morning I was thinking about things that I want to change in myself. I wondered if some of the changes were possible.
I opened up to the bible and read “The Truth Shall Make You Free”. At first I wondered, if I was being honest with myself. Am I lying to myself? Maybe I was not being completely honest about some things.

The Truth Shall Make You Free
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
—John 8:31-32 (NKJV)
Later in the day, I thought that I had it all wrong. Jesus is truth. If I know Jesus, I know the truth. God does not lie. When God makes promises, he keeps them. If I feel God is encouraging me do certain things, I should do them.
What looks impossible to me, is possible with God. I can consume my thoughts with doubts about myself, or I can just do what God told me to do.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
—Matthew 19:26 (NIV)
God is a promise keeper. I may think something seems impossible. Perhaps for me, it is impossible. I have a glimmer of hope telling me to try anyway. With God, all things are possible. God can do work in my life. God can change me and make that impossible thing flip around. God can turn the impossible into a reality.
