Corinthians, God's Character, Timothy

How Does God See Me?

Satan loves to remind me of all the mistakes that I have made, and I have made a ton of mistakes.  I still cringe at all my mistakes, when I was younger. I still make mistakes each day. I sin. I ask God to forgive me and help me to do better each day. I am so far from perfect. I need God each day.

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
—1 Timothy 1:15 NKJV

Since I have been seeking God, I have changed so much. I used to have no confidence. I thought that I wasn’t worth anything. When I sought my value in the world, I couldn’t find anything that made me feel worthwhile, that lasted. Everything in this world fades away. Now, I know that God made me for a unique purpose. I am beautiful in his eyes, even if others do not see me that way. When Jesus died on the cross, we were bought at a price. He died for us, so we can live. I matter. You matter. We all matter to God, who made each of us for a unique purpose.

You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. Brethren, let each one remain with God in that state in which he was called.
—1 Corinthians 7:23-24 NKJV

Don’t live for this world. It will never be enough. Keep your gaze focused on God. I pray that everyone around you will see you, how God sees you.
