Have you ever been at a point where you think that you will fall apart? You have to make the choice to get back up again or not. You can change your heart and mind and go full force ahead. Or, you can give up.
God has these great plans for us, but sometimes we don’t believe in ourselves, so we don’t fully accept all of God’s blessings in our lives.
Things in life can be good and bad. One time a supervisor told me that when I do a good job, I do fabulously well, but when I make a mistake, I dwell on it, instead of moving on. It is something that I continue to work on. Somethings are glaringly obvious to others, yet not to yourself.
There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword,
But the tongue of the wise promotes health.
—Proverbs 12:18 NKJV
Listening to wisdom promotes good health. Hear it. Think about it. Be honest with yourself. Pray about it.
This morning, I was working out, and I started crying. I was so embarrassed. The trainer said, “Don’t give up on yourself. Keep going.” It felt like like slow motion, finishing the work out. It wasn’t even my first time back at the gym. I am 8 weeks in. I hope this will mark the turning point of how I kept going, instead of giving up.
Over the past 7 years, I have had some very difficult life experiences. There has been great loss and great joy. I have started to do hard things again, way out of my comfort zone. I go in and do it, trusting that God will equip me with what I need. I have to keep moving forward and trusting in God and not give up. God has great blessings for us!
