Have you seen the video with the lady saying that we should eat children to save the planet? It sounds insane! It sounds horrific. It sounds unbelievable. It is a hoax and not true.
The scary part is that it has happened in history. It is a horrible part of history, that I don’t like reading. The story made me think about the Baal worship in the bible. There was a statue built, and people would bring their babies, place them on the arms of the statue and burn them. Why? Baal was the earth god. People sacrificed children to the earth god, in hopes of getting rain.
Hmm, this sounds eerily familiar.
I don’t know Satan, however everything I have been taught about him is that he uses the same methods to try and attack us…He tries to make sinful things seem normal and acceptable.
It is easy to get caught up in what is going on the world and what is now considered normal. I need to read the bible and learn history. I can learn about God’s character. It is the living word. There is so much information in the bible. Our hearts can be encouraged and knit together in love. We will become rich with understanding and the knowledge of God. When we pray and seek God, hidden things will be revealed. We will get wisdom and insight that are hidden in both the Father and Christ.
Not Philosophy but Christ
For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

The world around us may seem insane. I am so thankful that we can always find peace with God.
God is all powerful. God will protect us and watch over us. Our God rose Jesus from the dead to sit next to him in heaven. God showed his supreme power. God showed his love for us. God triumphed over everything, including death. Only one God can triumph over death. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The one true God.
Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

When we watch the news in wide-eyed disbelief, we have to remember that God is in charge. God disarmed all other principalities and powers. God made a spectacle of them. God triumphs over everything.
