Good Morning. We watched Sunday Services online today. Strangely, this is our new normal for an indefinite period of time.
I feel like God is trying to get our attention. We were too busy with activities, work and stuff, that we did not have time for God. Now, we do have extra time. I feel like God is calling us to him. God has been patiently waiting for us to return to him. God wants each of us to return to him.
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
–2 Peter 3:9 (NIV)
God can change each one of us. God changed Saul (Paul) from a scary, murderous persecutor of Christians to a faithful teacher of God’s word. If God could change Saul, God can change anyone.
We all have sinned. It is in the our nature.
We cannot dwell on our past mistakes. We have to ask God to forgive us. Then, we need to live the beautiful life that God has planned for us.
Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
“Therefore you, O son of man, say to the house of Israel: ‘Thus you say, “If our transgressions and our sins lie upon us, and we pine away in them, how can we then live?” Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’
–Ezekiel 33:9-11 (NKJV)
Right now, we have time. It is a great time to reflect on our lives, draw our family close to us, seek forgiveness from God, strive to do better and live this beautiful life according to God’s plan for us.
God is patiently waiting for us.
