Speak About Christ Boldly, Without Fear

Good morning. This week I am reminded that God’s word is written in the bible. The bible is the Christian’s ultimate source of truth.

In the bible, Paul writes in his letter to the Philippians about his struggles. He says that the things that happened to him have resulted in the furtherance of the gospel. Paul’s struggles contributed to spreading the gospel. When we are going through a difficult time, God can turn it around for his good. God can turn our struggles into triumphs.

When Paul was in jail, the guards and those around him realized that his chains were in Christ. Seeing Paul’s steadfast belief in Jesus Christ, others were encouraged to speak boldly without fear.

Christ Is Preached
But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ; and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
–Philippians 1:12-14 (NKJV)

Are you always willing to speak about Christ boldly and without fear? Sometimes, I still doubt myself, and I am afraid that I will make a mistake. If we are truly speaking God’s words from the bible, there are no mistakes. God’s words are good and pure. We should feel encouraged and emboldened  to proclaim the word of God.
