God Will Dwell In Our Midst Forever

Happy Saturday! During the quarantine, I have seen so many reactions on social media. I have seen fear and anxiety. I have seen some people feeling overwhelmed. And, I have seen some people examining what is really important in their lives. When all of this is over, what will be worth maintaining in your life? Will your life resume exactly as you did before the quarantine?

Our Easter Sunday service was online, like most of the country. Our Pastor was overflowing with joy to share that over 1,000 people accepted Jesus Christ on Easter. People could click on a button or email the church to let them now of their decision. Thank God for using this time for his good purpose.

Today, I opened up to a few passages in the bible.

In the book of John, Jesus tells his disciples that the light is with them. Jesus told them to walk with the light, while they have it, otherwise the darkness will overtake them. When we walk in darkness, we cannot see where we are going. While there is light, walk in it, so that we may become sons and daughters of God.

Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.
–John 12:35-36 (NKJV)

When we make the choice to follow Jesus and have faith, God will be with us. God will dwell in our midst forever.

Ezekiel43-9

I will dwell in their midst forever.
–Ezekiel 43:9 (NKJV)

No matter what we have done, God will forgive a sincere heart. God wants us to leave our old ways behind. God wants us to cling to the light and grow our faith and love for him. When we choose God, God will dwell in our midst forever.
