Give Thanks To The Lord For His Goodness

Everyday we can find reasons to give thanks to the Lord, because he is so good. The Lord’s loves truly endures forever.

Psalm 107-1

We can cry out to the Lord in our troubles. God can save us from our distress. God sends his words to heal us. God delivers us from destruction. We should give thanks to God and thank God for being so good to us. God does wonderful works. We should declare God’s words with joy. We should rejoice in the Lord.

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
And He saved them out of their distresses.
He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving,
And declare His works with rejoicing.
–Psalm 107:19-22 (NKJV)

In times of confusion or trouble, we should rejoice in the goodness of God. Even though we cannot see it now, God can work out these times for our good. In all circumstances, we should praise the Lord and give thanks to the Lord for His goodness

Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you, God, for being so good to us. Thank you for another day to stay safe. Thank you for another day to love our families. Thank your another day to enjoy the sunshine and find rainbows in the rain. I pray that you keep our families, friends and neighbors safe during this Coronavirus Pandemic. I pray that you give our hearts and minds peace, comfort and joy as we go through our day. God, I pray that you work out this time for your good works.
