God Will Equip Us To Do His Good Works

Do you truly believe that God’s goodness is better than anything else? I do, yet I still sin. Why would I miss out on some of God’s blessings and go against God? All humans sin. Understanding our own ‘why’ is complicated. If we repent, God will forgive us.

I have to keep reminding myself that I don’t have to be strong enough, because God is enough. When I do God’s will, God will give me strength and energy to get through it and sprinkle other blessings along the way.

God has brought me to so may new situations, and God has carried me through so much. God is so good to me.

In the bible, Paul admits that they were almost killed in Asia. They were in a situation that required strength far above anything they were humanly capable of dealing with, and God delivered them. It was not just a one time thing. God will keep delivering you, if you trust in him and pray that you are truly doing God’s will and not your own.

Delivered from Suffering
For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us, you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many.
—2 Corinthians 1:8-11 NKJV

God will keep challenging us to do things that we don’t think that we can do. And, we are right, we cannot do them alone. God will equip us to do his good works.
