We try to walk the right path and follow God’s will. Unfortunately, we all do some really stupid stuff sometimes. Our nature is sinful, we can’t get away from it. That is why we need a Savior. Some days, you have to admit, wow that was a dumb thing to do or say, God forgive me and help me not to do it again.
I have to evaluate what leads me to these situations. When the same people try to get to you and instigate you, for me it is best not to get involved. It may be better to keep to myself, mind my own business and not insert myself into the drama. Just ignore it, and let them do whatever it is that they are trying to do, without getting involved.
Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. Then people who are not believers will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.

Everyday, we need to ask God for wisdom, guidance and protection. The enemy is always lurking around, trying to destroy us. Don’t let that happen. Turn to God. Ask for discernment and listen so carefully to God, that we tune out the noise around us, focusing on the paths of the Lord. We have to make a choice to follow the Lord everyday. Those who are plotting against us will stumble and fall, while we are focused on doing God’s will. God will help us do what is good and right.
Let those who are wise understand these things.
Let those with discernment listen carefully.
The paths of the Lord are true and right,
and righteous people live by walking in them.
But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.
