Yesterday was election day. God’s laws were not honored, the ways of the world were instead. God allows his people to make choices, and they will have to live with the consequences.
Since the beginning of time, people have sinned. You can read the bible like a newspaper reporting current events. People sinned then, just as much as today. We are born into sin. God is gracious and gave us a way out and salvation with Jesus.
The entire world can be in chaos and/or our everyday lives may feel chaotic. God is in control. Collectively, God will correct us and individually.
God has a plan and a purpose. Keep believing.
God always leaves a remnant of believers, so you won’t be alone.
Through it all, I will still follow God. I need God even more now than yesterday. There is no comfort or love like that from God.
Then this message came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?”
