Good afternoon. I hope your day is going well.
This morning, I opened the bible to verses that I studied in the Fall Women’s bible study. It can be challenging to walk worthy of the Lord. God can help us, even when we think that we cannot possibly do it. God has given me so much strength to endure difficulties and difficult people. God can do it again.
that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy
–Colossians 1:10-11 (NKJV)
Do you have a situation or obstacle in your life the seems impossible to overcome? I sure do, so I needed this encouragement to keep on, pressing on.
I have to do what God thinks is right. I am starting to worry and stress out over things that are not in my control. I need to give it all to God. However it all shakes out, it will be for God’s glory, not my own.
He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.
–John 7:18 (NKJV)
Keep on seeking out God’s glory, and everything will fall perfectly into place.
