Trusting in God, Zephaniah

God Never Fails

Good Morning. The Coronavirus precautions are starting to be implemented. Universities are going to have online classes. The county adjacent to ours is off school on Monday, so they can plan remote school options for elementary, middle and high schools. Most stores cannot stock the shelves fast enough. I have never seen anything like it. The way we learn and work in the future will be forever changed.

If I didn’t believe in God. I would be anxiety ridden and fearful. I believe that the Lord is righteous. God will never do anything unrighteousness. Every morning is a new day. We can count on the sun rising, and the Lord’s justice shining brightly. God will never fail us. The unjust have no shame.

zephaniah3-5

The Lord is righteous in her midst,
He will do no unrighteousness.
Every morning He brings His justice to light;
He never fails,
But the unjust knows no shame.
–Zephaniah 3:5 (NKJV)

In our current atmosphere, if you are living in this world, it is an uneasy and uncertain place to be navigating. It is easy to get swept up in the panic. I trust in God. God made everything on this earth. God knows about this virus. We have to admit that we do not know everything. There are many mysteries in this world. We can chose to be humble and trust in the name of the Lord.

I will leave in your midst
A meek and humble people,
And they shall trust in the name of the Lord.
–Zephaniah 3:12 (NKJV)

Our God can turn fear into joy. The Lord is watching over us everyday. The Holy Spirit is in the center of our lives. God is mighty. God can save us. When we seek God, the Lord rejoices over us with gladness. His love will wash over us and leave us with a comforting peace. God will rejoice over each of us and sing. God loves each of us. It makes God happy when we turn to him, so much so that he rejoices and sings.

“The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
–Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV)

When the world is panicking all around us, close your eyes. Direct your thoughts upward to the Lord. Trust in God, the only one that never fails.
