We all want freedom. People fight and die for it.
God gave us all freedom. We can make our own choices each day. Right or wrong, we have the freedom to decide.
God loves us so much that he will give us the gift of eternal life in heaven with Him. You just have to believe in Him. God’s light is there to save us, if we choose to accept it.
I’ve made good choices and bad choices in life. The best choice I made was to accept Jesus in my heart. People can think accepting Jesus comes with rules that are strict and too hard to follow. I’ve been on both sides. The greatest freedom is finding Jesus. If you ask, God will take your burdens and hold them, lightening your load and filling your heart with peace. It’s freeing.
God will meet you right where you are. God is so good, that when you accept Him in your heart. You want to change. You feel convicted to sift things out of your life that don’t honor God.
You will change. God’s light will shine through you. Some people will be drawn to the light shining through you. Those who do what is right go towards the light, so others can see they are doing what God wants.
Yet, others will hate the light, not because of anything you did. People don’t want to stop doing evil, so they hate the light. Evil people don’t want to go near the light, because their sins will be exposed.
We have the freedom to choose a life with light or darkness. Light leads to eternal life.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”
