Some days I go through the day and feel surprised and confused at the world around me. I feel out of touch about the latest shows, trends and fads. Do you ever feel that way?
I am trying to keep my eyes focused on God. I am trying to get better and improve myself. I am trying to live a life worthy of God. Honestly, it is not easy. Some things are easier than others. I have so much to work on.
God’s kingdom is forever. The world that I see and know will fade away. God is sovereign. God will give Jesus supreme authority of the earth. All people, nations and languages will serve Jesus.
Jesus will have an everlasting dominion. It will not fade away. Jesus’s kingdom will never be destroyed.
Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.
–Daniel 7:14 (NKJV)
If I have to choose between keeping up with the world or trying to be worthy of God. I choose God. Even though, I fall short, I will keep trying to live a life worthy to God.
This earth is held together by God. All the kingdoms under heaven belong to God. One day, God will give people and the most high saints the kingdom. Jesus will reign. The kingdom of Jesus will last forever. The earth will serve and obey Jesus.
Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’

God holds together the earth. I pray that God will hold my life together with his sovereign hands. God’s kingdom is everlasting.
