Some days, you just need to hear the straight forward approach. God, how are we supposed to live? God told us what is good and what is required of us.

We are supposed to do what is right. Even my dog knows when he has done the wrong thing. Lately, he likes to open the pantry door with his nose and go through the trash. When we come home and see the mess, he has already put himself in the crate. If a fluffy dog knows he is wrong, how much more do we know what we are doing? Yet, we do not always do what is right and hope our wrong doings will be canceled or forgotten by the good things we do. I am 100% guilty. That is why we are in in a hopeless sin cycle and need a Savior.

We should love mercy. We all love mercy when it is for us, but when mercy is for others that we deem way worse than us, we aren’t always so generous. If we want God to have mercy on us, we should love mercy for everyone. This is tough.

We should walk humbly with God. Being humble is a choice. You know that God knows everything, and we know nothing in comparison. God is all knowing. God created us. Everything that we have is from God. There is no reason to be arrogant, God can take everything away in a moment. God can also change everything around in a moment. God can give you everything in a moment. Since everything that we have is from God, we don’t get the credit, God does. Yet, it is so easy to fill yourself with pride and take credit.
