Prayer Warriors

There has always been joy and sorrow in the world. Right now, when I scroll through social media I see hurt, anger and pain. Now more than ever, we need to turn to God and pray. There are so many situations that seem insurmountable right now. With God, nothing is too great to overcome. When everything is too much, and the burden is too heavy, God is the only answer.

When we look at the world, many of us feel confusion and sorrow. God will give us joy that nobody can take away from us.

Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.
—John 16:22 (NKJV)

When we don’t have an answer and our plans are not working, God can give us knowledge and understanding. When we look around at the world and don’t know what to do, God can give us wisdom to make our path clear.

He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.

—Daniel 2:21 (NKJV)

The world seems to be spinning out of control right now. God can heal us, if we turn to him. When we don’t feel strong enough to overcome the world, we can turn to the one that has overcome this world. Our hearts can feel at peace, knowing that Jesus has overcome the world. With God on our side, the possibilities are endless. With God, the possibilities expand beyond the heavens. So, turn to the one who knows.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world
—John 16:33 (NKJV)

We may feel like we are not strong enough to speak up about everything happening in the world and in our communities. God gives us power and increases our strength. Praying can move mountains. Instead of trying to change the world with sheer grit and force, turn to God. Use all your strength to pray for our friends, families and neighbors.

He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.

—Isaiah 40:29 (NKJV)

I pray that we will all be mighty pray warriors for the Lord.

  1. Amen 🙏🏿. I definitely agree that prayer is the key. God hold the keys and He is in Control. May we not give up on calling on His name. As we seek His face, I know that He will answer us. We need to be still and know that He is still God 😊
